What They Said: Tre'Davious White, Charles Clay, Zay Jones on loss to Packers

(on the loss) “It is always frustrating when you play like that with the preparation you put in, but it is a long season. We will get it turned around.”

(on if Buffalo missed turnover opportunities) “Most definitely. Ryan (Lewis) dropped a pick. I dropped one. The takeaways were out there, but we didn’t take advantage of it.”

(on matching up with Davante Adams) “I pretty much followed him around the whole game. They started lining him up in the slot. They are going to do what they do. They aren’t going to be scared on anyone with the quarterback that they have. He is a good receiver.”

(on Micah Hyde going down to an injury early) “It is a big deal anytime you lose a Pro Bowler, a guy that seems to knows everything about this defense. He played here for a long time. If we have him on the field I feel like we have the upper hand.”

(on Josh Allen and the offense) “He comes out and works his tail off every single day. You don’t see any demeanor change or anything like that. We just need to all go out and get everything corrected. He works his tail off every single week. That didn’t change this week. You can’t just look at him and say what he did or didn’t I definitely had plays I wish I could have back today. We just need to do all we can to be there for him, not just him, but all our teammates. As a whole we just have to be better.”

(on Green Bay’s defense pressuring Allen) “The biggest thing for us is to make sure we are in the right spots. Without watching the film it is tough to say.”

(on what needs to be done to improve the offense) “At this point all that we can do is continue to work and get better from here. This one is over. There is nothing we can do about it now.”

(on the lack of offense today) “We are competitors. Everyone expects more from themselves. For myself, I am just going to keep trying to improve to help this team win football games. I know collectively as an offense it wasn’t good enough, what we put out there today. We didn’t get it done today.”

(on if being shut out hurts a team’s confidence) “I don’t think it hurts the confidence. I don’t think this team flinches from losing a ball game. We are a resilient group. We win together and we lose together. The  confidence is still high. I still have faith in every single person on this team. I am not worried by it.”

(on Green Bay’s secondary) “They are a great group. They played well as a whole. I think we had a lot of self-inflicted things, whether it was protection, running or simply catching the football. As an offense we didn’t do what we needed to do.”

(on the importance of starting fast) “We want to start fast and score early, and we didn’t do that this week. Last week we came out and set the tempo, and pretty much controlled the game. This week they controlled the game.”
