Beginning today, shoppers will be able to get their Starbucks fix at the North Buffalo Target store.
The newly built cafe is situated at the front of the store and replaces the Target Cafe snack bar.
It's the first milestone in a sweeping remodel of the store at 2626 Delaware Ave., using the latest-generation store design. In addition to new decor, fixtures and lighting, the guest services counter will be revamped to better serve guests picking up online orders. The beauty department also will be overhauled with a new look and layout. The remodel is expected to be completed by late fall.
Target plans to complete 1,000 store remodels by the end of 2020, 300 of them by the end of the year.
Other licensed Starbucks locations opened at the Marriott Residence Inn, 620 Delaware Ave., earlier this month and at the Target store in Niagara Falls over the summer.
