A Chautauqua County man was arrested on robbery and child endangerment charges after a Town of Portland woman told authorities he had taken property from her by force in front of her children.

Paul R. Dunn III, 36, of Brocton, was charged Thursday with third-degree robbery, petit larceny and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office.

Dunn was arraigned in Town Ripley Court and held in the Chautauqua County Jail on $25,000 cash bail, the Sheriff's Office said.
