Brooks Koepka donates $50K to Demeris Johnson Ministries

U.S. Open and PGA Championship winner Brooks Koepka has donated $50,000 to Demeris Johnson Ministries in Buffalo.

The donation is part of the 2018 Ryder Cup Outreach Program, which impacts designated charities and youth golf development programs across the county. Koepka, his Ryder Cup teammates and captain Jim Furyk made a commitment of $2.85 million to the outreach program. Each member of the team and Furyk designated $100,000 to the charity or charities of their choice.

Demeris Johnson Ministries is a non-profit organization headed by former Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins receiver Demeris Johnson. Johnson now works as a pastor and athletic trainer.
