A 19-year-old has been charged with a double homicide earlier this month in which one of the victims was a University at Buffalo student, the Monroe County Sheriff's Office said.
Mason Earle faces two counts of second-degree murder in the Sept. 10 killings of Alexander Burrow, 20, and Bruce Kane, 19, in the hamlet of Hamlin.
Burrow was starting his second year at UB, his brother told the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle. Earle was arraigned Thursday night, the Sheriff's Office said in a Facebook post.
Burrow and Kane both suffered gunshot wounds. Their bodies were found in a burned-out car behind a warehouse, deputies previously reported.
