Canisius ranked second in Atlantic Hockey preseason poll

Canisius received four first-place votes and is ranked second in the Atlantic Hockey preseason poll released Tuesday.

Two-time defending Atlantic Hockey Tournament champion Air Force is ranked No. 1 for the second consecutive year. Air Force received seven first-place votes and 97 points total.

The Golden Griffins were five points behind with 92 total points.

There is a significant drop until Robert Morris at No. 3 with 66 points.

Niagara is listed as last in the preseason poll with 21 points.

Canisius and Niagara both have exhibition games on Oct. 6. Niagara faces York at 3 p.m. on campus and Canisius faces Toronto at 4:35 p.m. at HarborCenter.
