Mike Rigerman of Pioneer has been selected as the Buffalo News Player of the Week for Week Four.
The Panthers’ senior had a sensational contest in No. 2 small-school Pioneer’s 33-14 win over top-ranked Cheektowaga. He rushed 29 times for 250 yards, scoring each of his four touchdowns during the second half to help Pioneer pull away for the division road win. He also made 11 tackles and recovered a fumble.
The Buffalo News Player of the Week is selected off the list of that week’s Connolly Cup/ADPRO Sports top performers.
