An Orchard Park man was arrested Thursday on two charges, State Police said.
Douglas A. Baxter, 63, was charged with driving while intoxicated and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Baxter was pulled over by State Police for speeding and failing to use his signal while driving on Route 219 in West Seneca. Troopers interviewing him detected the odor of alcohol on Baxter and he was administered sobriety tests, which he failed.
Baxter was found to be in alleged possession of a small quantity of marijuana. He was transported to State Police Barracks in Boston, where he provided a breath sample with a reading of .11 percent blood alcohol content, according to troopers.
He was scheduled to return Oct. 5 to West Seneca Town Court.
