Reports: LeSean McCoy unlikely to play against Vikings

UPDATED: McCoy was among the Bills' inactives against Minnesota.

Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy, who suffered cracked rib cartilage in last week's loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, is expected to test how he feels in warmups before today's game at Minnesota but is unlikely to play, according to reports.

NFL Media's Ian Rapoport an ESPN's Adam Schefter reported overnight that McCoy is in a lot of pain and is more likely to sit out today's game. Schefter said McCoy wanted to see how the ribs felt pregame before making a final decision, according to a source.

McCoy is listed as questionable on the injury report.

A final decision would need to be made 90 minutes before game time when the Bills announce their inactive players.

Marcus Murphy and Chris Ivory would be the Bills' options at running back if McCoy cannot play.
