How big of an upset was Bills' victory?

How big of an upset was the Buffalo Bills' 27-6 victory Sunday?

The Bills won the game outright as a 16.5-point underdog.

According to the Playbook.com database, which goes back to 1980, only three NFL teams have won outright as underdogs of 16 points or more. Two of those involved the Bills.

Nov. 29, 1992: The Bills were 16.5-point favorites against the Colts. Indianapolis won 16-13 at home in overtime after scoring 10 points in the fourth quarter to force the extra session.

Dec. 6, 1992:  The next week, the Bills hosted the Jets as a 17-point favorite and lost 24-17. The winning points came on an interception return late in the game.

Dec. 3, 1995: Washington was a 17.5-point underdog to host Dallas and won 24-17. Of note, Washington was a 13-point underdog in an October meeting against the visiting Cowboys and won that one too, 27-23.
