Chef-owner Marco Sciortino will headline Ilio DiPaolo's Culinary Extravaganza on Oct. 8.
The nine-course dinner will include courses like baked mahi-mahi marinated in lime and rum, blood orange sorbetto, and filet mignon over caponata with ricotta salata.
Sciortino, owner of Marco's Restaurant and Marco's Italian Deli, will work with Dan Buckley, Dr. Andy Cappucino and Ilio's Chef Michael DiPaolo.
The event, featuring Cakebread Cellars wine, will benefit the Ilio DiPaolo Scholarship Fund.
The event starts at 6 p.m. at Ilio DiPaolo's, 3785 South Park Ave., Blasdell. Tickets are $99. Call 825-3675 for reservations.
