A restaurant offering all-you-can-eat Asian food is working on opening at Maple and Sweet Home roads.
Sukishi Buffet, 4224 Maple Road, is finishing construction inside the former Toni Pepperoni spot near the new Price Rite supermarket.
The 165-seat restaurant would offer a wide variety of Asian cuisine, concentrating on seafood, including Japanese ramen soup, dim sum dumplings, and sushi, a representative said.
Other offerings would include griddled teppanyaki dishes, a salad bar, Korean dishes and tempura-fried Japanese offerings, among other things. A roast beef carving station also is in the plans.
A wide variety of ice cream will also be available, he said. The restaurant has applied for a beer and wine license.
His goal is to open Sukishi Buffet before the end of September.
