Traffic stop yields man with 20 suspensions on his driver's license

A Buffalo man who was stopped Sunday by City of Tonawanda Police was found to have 20 suspensions on his driver's license that date back to 1999.

Gregory L. Black, 55, was charged with both second- and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, alcohol-related aggravated operation of a motor vehicle, driving without a license, driving an unregistered vehicle and having a cracked windshield after he was stopped by officers at about 12:45 p.m. on Delton Street.

According to police, most of the suspensions on Black's license were for failing to pay fines and outstanding tickets.

Black was held by police on $250 bail.
