A Buffalo man was pulled over in the City of Tonawanda for driving with a cracked windshield.
His bad driving record led to his arrest.
The traffic stop of Gregory L. Black, 55, led to several charges as well as his arrest Sunday afternoon due to his having 20 suspensions on his driver's license over the last 20 years, police said.
After being stopped on Delton Street just before 12:45 p.m. Sunday, Black was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, third-degree aggravated operation, aggravated operation-alcohol related, no driver's license, unregistered vehicle and a cracked windshield.
When officers checked Black's Department of Motor Vehicles record, it yielded 20 suspensions on his driver’s license dating back to 1999. Most suspensions were for failure to pay fines and outstanding tickets, police said.
Black was returned to the Tonawanda station and held on $250 bail.
