The news may be slow to come in Wyoming County, but the speed wasn't.
A 57-year-old Buffalo woman was arrested and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated after she was spotted by a sheriff's deputy traveling 101 mph in in a 55 mph zone in the Town of Perry.
Sandra D. Bolden was stopped on State Route 20A and taken into custody after a "roadside investigation" and field sobriety testing, the Wyoming County Sheriff's Office reported. She was was charged with speeding, DWI, aggravated DWI and driving with a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 or greater.
The incident occurred on the morning of Sept. 1 – more than two weeks ago – but was reported by the the Sheriff's Office on Sunday morning.
