When federal prosecutors recently announced an indictment charging 12 suspected gang members from Buffalo, one of the suspects was still at large.
On Friday, the FBI announced the arrest of Rashad Rose.
Rose, a fugitive who was considered armed and dangerous, is charged with taking part in the CBL/BFL street gang that investigators claim operated out of the Towne Gardens housing complex.
The federal prosecution centers around allegations of drug dealing, robbery and murder, including the 2015 fatal shooting of Jaquan Sullivan and the 2017 killing of Xavier Wines.
Investigated by the FBI, Buffalo Police and others, many of the the suspected gang members lived in Towne Gardens and are accused of selling heroin, fentanyl and crack cocaine out of their homes.
