Lafayette High School was the third high school built in Buffalo, and the oldest that still remains in its original building. The school was designed by Buffalo architects Esenwein and Johnson and constructed in 1901 by Mosier and Summers. Located in Buffalo's Upper West Side at 370 Lafayette Ave., the school officially opened on Sept. 10, 1903.
