Lockport police arrested a Niagara Falls man Thursday and charged him with driving under the influence of drugs while a child was in the back seat.
Corey Lasher, 34, of 77th Street, was pulled over at about 4 p.m. on West Avenue near Prospect Street after police received a report of a reckless driver. Officers said Lasher told them he had taken Suboxone and also had crystal methamphetamine and Adderall in his sock.
Police recovered the drugs and charged Lasher with aggravated driving while intoxicated — a Leandra's Law violation — along with driving while impaired by drugs, third- and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, child endangerment and a lane violation. He pleaded not guilty Friday in City Court, where bail was set at $5,000.
