Letter: Fuzzy math in Bills’ analysis

I thought I was crazy when I read The Buffalo News sports page after the Bengals game. In a column saying that Josh Allen should quarterback the Bills, I read the statistics from the preseason game with several questions.

For example:

• When is 34 yards better than 200?

• When is 50 percent completion better than 76 percent?

• And when is a rating of 56 better than 121?

I guess it’s when one professional writer from The News, and another on a TV station, say so and don’t pick Nathan Peterman to be the Bills’ starter.
