Minnesota Vikings receiver Cayleb Jones, the brother of Buffalo Bills receiver Zay Jones, was arrested in Minnesota on probable cause of theft, interfering on a 911 call and misdemeanor domestic assault, the Star Tribune reported. He has not been charged.
"We are aware of the situation involving Cayleb Jones and are in the process of gathering more information. Further comment will be provided at the appropriate time," Vikings General Manager Rick Spielman said in a statement.
Jones is suspended for the first four games of the season for a violation of the NFL's performance enhancing drug policy. He is allowed to play during the preseason and was expected to be in the lineup in Thursday's preseason finale.
Cayleb was seen on the video of the incident that led to Zay being arrested in March for felony vandalism. The charges were dropped. TMZ published a video of Jones having an altercation with Cayleb. Zay Jones was nude in the video, and can be heard saying he was going to "fight for Jesus." Witnesses told TMZ that Cayleb had to restrain his brother from seriously harming himself.
