More than 11,000 customers in Cheektowaga and West Seneca are without power Tuesday morning, according to New York State Electric & Gas.
NYSEG said 11,337 are without power, with an estimated restoration of 9:15 a.m. NYSEG is investigating the cause.
West Seneca Police tweeted that several traffic lights were out, including Clinton Street lights at intersections with Harlem, Union and Borden. West Seneca Police said generators were being deployed.
