Letter: Congress’ floor votes go by political interests

The Aug. 16 letter writer, “Congress members reveal deficiency on Constitution,” seems to have a very short memory.

I recall in the not so distant past, a political party not even bringing to the floor, a vote on one, Merrick Garland, for political reasons. Ring a bell?

Apparently, that Congress didn’t care to uphold the Constitution either.
