Niagara Falls elected officials to take questions at public forum

Most of the elected officials representing Niagara Falls will be on hand Thursday for an open forum hosted by County Legislator Owen T. Steed.

The third annual installment of Steed's "Talking Matters" series will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Harry F. Abate Elementary School, 1625 Lockport St.

Steed said Tuesday that he expects Rep. Brian Higgins, state Sen. Robert G. Ortt, Assemblyman Angelo J. Morinello, Mayor Paul A. Dyster, Niagara County Sheriff James R. Voutour and District Attorney Caroline A. Wojtaszek to be present.

Also scheduled to appear are Falls Police Superintendent E. Bryan DalPorto, school Superintendent Mark R. Laurrie and members of the Board of Education, county Legislature and City Council.
