Letter: Collins never liked being very close to contituents

I am puzzled by Congressman Chris Collins’ claim, prior to being ordered to turn in his firearms due to his felony arrest, that he decided to carry a gun to protect not only himself, but also his constituents, should they be in the line of fire, if someone takes a shot at him.

Is this not the same congressperson who is infamous for keeping as far away from his constituents as possible? As a resident of his district, I really wasn’t that worried…
