A Buffalo man and woman with previous narcotics convictions each pleaded guilty to drug possession charges Friday in State Supreme Court, according to the Erie County District Attorney's Office.
Donel Cathcart, 33, and Latoya Raymond, 34, each pleaded guilty to second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Following a Feb. 17 raid on the couple's Seneca Street apartment, Buffalo Police Department narcotics investigators found crack cocaine and heroin, with an estimated street value of $20,000, according to prosecutors. In addition, police seized drug paraphernalia used to sell narcotics and more than $8,000 in cash.
Cathcart and Raymond each face up to 14 years in prison when sentenced Sept. 20.
