The federal court jury deciding the fate of two Buffalo police officers charged with using excessive force deliberated all day Thursday without reaching a verdict.
The officers, Raymond Krug and Joseph Wendel, are accused of shooting a teenager with a BB gun in 2009. The teen and three of his friends were arrested and charged with taking part in a drive-by BB gun shooting earlier that night.
The jury's deliberations follow a two-week trial that included testimony from all four teens and Krug, who denied the allegations that he was the shooter.
Krug and Wendel face up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
