Women charged with stealing $2,000 in Victoria's Secret merchandise

State troopers arrested three Buffalo women after they allegedly shoplifted $2,000 worth of merchandise from a Victoria's Secret shop at Eastern Hills Mall in Clarence, according to State Police.

Troopers Sunday responded to a report of a larceny, made by store employees, who provided a license plate number of a vehicle used by the individuals, State Police said.

Officers from the Cheektowaga Police saw the vehicle on Route 33 in Cheektowaga, troopers said.

After pulling the vehicle over, officers searched the vehicle and found the occupants to be in possession of the allegedly stolen merchandise, along with other allegedly stolen items and a specially-designed purse for shoplifting, State Police said.

Arrested were Shawdrina Hicks, 34, Michelle Brown, 37, and Rickita Latham, 33, State Police said.

Each was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, possession of burglar tools, fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and fifth-degree conspiracy, State Police said.

Troopers charged Latham with false personation and making a false written statement, after it was discovered she allegedly provided them with a false name during her arrest and processing, State Police said.

All three were held on bail at the Erie County Holding Center, State Police said.
