Pembroke man charged with driving under influence of drugs and alcohol after accident

A Pembroke man is accused of driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol following an accident Monday in the Town of Batavia, according to the Genesee County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies arrested Mark D. Humel, 26, after responding to a one-car accident at about 3:37 p.m. on Lewiston Road, the Sheriff's Office said.

Humel was charged with felony driving while ability impaired by drugs, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, driving while ability impaired by drugs and alcohol combined, driving while intoxicated, operating a vehicle without an interlock device, operating a vehicle with a suspended registration and leaving the scene of a property damage accident, the Sheriff's Office said.

Deputies alleged that Humel was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs and alcohol and with a revoked driver's license, the Sheriff's Office said.
