Niagara Catholic High School to auction its memorabilia, furnishings

Alumni, family and staff of Niagara Catholic High School, which announced its shutdown in June because of Diocese of Buffalo budget cuts, will have the first chance to buy memorabilia at the school Thursday, before what's left is auctioned Saturday.

A few items have been donated to the Local History Department of the Niagara Falls Public Library, but everything else will be available to alumni at the school on 66th Street from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday in a private cash sale.

The auction of all the school's equipment and furnishings by Cash Realty and Auctions is set to begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at the school. Available items will include statues and other religious artifacts, an 11-passenger minibus and maintenance, classroom, office, kitchen and athletic equipment.
