Jamestown man charged with attack on woman

Jamestown police arrested a man early Sunday and charged him with beating a woman after throwing her to the pavement at Foot Avenue and Harrison Street.

Jason M. Loucks, 45, of Jamestown, was charged with third-degree assault and second-degree unlawful imprisonment. Police were called to the scene at 12:41 a.m. and found Loucks allegedly holding the woman down. Police accused him of punching the woman in the face several times.

Because the matter was classified as a domestic violence incident, Loucks was held without bail until an arraignment could be arranged before a city judge.
