A standoff involving a knife-wielding man on Glenwood Avenue ended Saturday in his arrest, according to Buffalo police.
Devonte Cross, 19, of 345 Glenwood Ave., was taken into custody shortly after midnight after the brief standoff at his home. No one was injured.
Police said Cross at some point grabbed two knives, threatened people in his home, including two children, and then held them against their will while officers tried to get him to surrender.
He was charged with unlawful imprisonment, menacing, harassment, criminal possession of a weapon and endangering the welfare of a child, according to a police report.
