An Albion man was arrested by Genesee County Sheriff's Office deputies and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated Thursday, following a hit-and-run crash in LeRoy, according to authorities.
The Sheriff's Office said Candido Candelaria, 26, had two previous driving while intoxicated convictions in the past 10 years.
He also was charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, following another vehicle too closely and driving with an obstructed view, the Sheriff's Office said.
Candelaria was arraigned in LeRoy Town Court and held on $5,000 bail, according to the Sheriff's Office.
He was scheduled to reappear Monday in LeRoy Town Court.
