Jamestown man faces multiple charges after domestic disputes

A Jamestown man was arrested about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday after a pair of domestic disputes on Howard Street turned physical, Jamestown Police reported.

Police said that an investigation determined that David M. Paulson, 37, had used force to prevent a woman from leaving the house on two occasions that day and had choked her during the earlier incident.

He was charged with two counts of aggravated family offense, two counts of unlawful imprisonment, criminal obstruction of breathing, second-degree harassment and fourth-degree criminal mischief. He is held in Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $30,000 bail following arraignment in City Court.
