Broadway-Fillmore man complains about loud music, gets shot with pellet gun

A Newton Street man who complained to his neighbor that he was playing music too loudly told police that the neighbor shot him with a pellet gun Wednesday night, police said.

The victim said he approached his neighbor at about 9:40 p.m. on Newton, which is in the Broadway-Fillmore district, and asked him to turn the music down. The victim said the neighbor told him he will play whatever he wanted at whatever volume he wanted and then shot the victim in the left forearm with the pellet gun. The victim was transported to Erie County Medical Center for treatment.
