MJ Peterson Tucker Homes new ‘Worthington II’ was on the Horizons Tour of Homes

The 2018 Horizons Tour of Homes featured a variety of residences, from single family homes to patio homes and everything in between, including many new models.
MJ Peterson Tucker Homes unveiled its newest model, the 2,110 square foot “Worthington II” at 5111 Anfield Road in Harris Hill Commons in Clarence.

“Residents of Harris Hill Commons enjoy the spacious home sites and surrounding green spaces in the community as well as the convenient location one mile east of Transit Road,” said Kimberly Dee, sales representative of MJ Peterson Tucker Homes.

The two bedroom, two full bath ranch plan is the latest from the builder that features an open floor plan. The exterior of the home is done in lovely stone and shake shingle with a sheltered front porch that opens up into an entrance foyer flanked by an open dining room to the left and a den to the right.

“We have a variety of floor plans to choose and buyers are able to customize to make it their dream home,” said Dee.

The architectural details include beautiful tray ceilings throughout most of the home including the master bedroom, dining room, great room and there are custom moldings throughout the home.

The glass front door features a transom window above. The adjacent large front window is unique, with an elevated center arch. All windows are pre-finished Pella windows.

Flooring throughout is a rich, wider plank hardwood done by Buffalo Hardwood that gives the home a warm feel along with a classic look.

The room to the right of the entrance could be used as a den or sitting room, and can be closed off by French doors.

To the left is the open formal dining space that looks out over the front lawn.

Straight ahead from the foyer area is the great room with a step ceiling and a gas fireplace flanked by two more windows.

The great room opens up into the oversized kitchen with a large working island, stainless steel appliances and dark granite countertops offset by white cabinetry. The multicolored tiled backsplash features a unique diamond, crisscross pattern.

Dual ovens are built into the cabinetry and a microwave above the cooktop creates an efficient workspace for the home chef. A butler pantry area is done with a wine rack for easy access.

The two-car garage entrance is located near the kitchen, to make loading and unloading groceries easier. Also located here is a mudroom and a first floor laundry with a tiled floors.

Adjacent to the kitchen is a sunroom set up as an informal dining space. The room opens up to a covered patio with a fan to keep the air moving on warm days. The patio looks out over a green space that includes a pond.

The large master bedroom is located on the kitchen side of the home. The master bath includes an all-tile walk in glass shower, a dual sink vanity, a large walk in closet and plenty of cabinet.

The second bedroom is located off the great room on the other side of the home for privacy. There is also another full bath with a shower/tub arrangement.

The “Worthington II” starting price is $509,900. The home at 5111 Anfield is open Saturday and Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m.
