August 15 – Safe Harbor Open Bass league out of Safe Harbor Marina from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

August 16 – CHANGE: Lake Erie Chapter – Fly Fishers International monthly meeting at American Legion Post in West Seneca has been moved to the West Seneca Library/Community Center at 1300 Union Road. Doors open at 6 p.m. and presentation  will begin at 6:30 p.m. with guest speaker Pete Hrodey, supervisory fish biologist with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s Sea Lamprey Control Program.
