NYBP prepares you for the Scottish Festival
New York Beer Project (6933 S. Transit Road, Lockport) will tap its Stone’s Throw Scottish Export ale on Aug. 17. The 4.7 percent ABV malty beer yields a light biscuit and moderately sweet caramel aroma, with flavors of toast, rich toffee, and an off-dry finish, which means there's a touch of sweetness to the otherwise dry close.
The tapping will coincide with the brewery’s Scottish Festival pregame party, beginning at 7 p.m. Aug. 17.
