Erie County sheriff's deputies are looking for two men posing as utility workers who are suspected in a daytime burglary in Colden.
The two men, who were wearing high-visibility, utility-style vests and carrying two-way radios, burglarized a Center Street home on Wednesday, the Sheriff's Office said Friday.
The suspects convinced homeowners they needed access to their property and residence and then stole cash and other valuables.
The suspects were described as a stocky white male and a stocky black male who were in their late 30s or early 40s. They were driving a red pickup with tinted windows. It may have been a Ford pickup and there was a yellow flashing light on the roof of the cab, according to authorities.
Deputies ask anyone who sees this truck to call 716-858-2903 and refer to case No. 18-06271.
