Boston man charged with felony DWI after rollover crash

A 49-year-old man with a prior conviction for driving while intoxicated was charged with felony drunken driving early Sunday morning after a rollover crash in southern Erie County, according to the Sheriff's Office.

The crash happened at 12:20 a.m. on Old Lower East Hill Road in the Town of Boston. Deputies found a vehicle in a ditch, the Sheriff's Office said.

David Juda, of the Town of Boston, failed field sobriety tests and registered a blood-alcohol content more than double the legal limit of 0.08 percent. The Sheriff's Office did not release Juda's precise BAC level.

Juda was charged with felony DWI, misdemeanor DWI and a vehicle and traffic violation. He was released to a sober third party with an appearance ticket for Boston Town Court.
