After Sunday's pleasant weather, look for more of a wet and wild week in Western New York, according to the National Weather Service.
Monday will start out mostly cloudy, with a high around 80, but the chance of rain increases Monday night, and continues through Friday, said meteorologist Steve Welch. Some areas may experience thunderstorms and heavy showers at some points, especially on Tuesday and Wednesday, he added.
"We're going to get into another active period," he said. "There's a pretty good chance for most of Western New York to see at least showers and storms through that time frame."
High temperatures will mostly hover around 80 "pretty much all week," while the lows will be in the 60s. "You don't get much of a pattern change this week," he said.
