Lane violation leads to Mayville man's arrest on drug charge

A 31-year-old Mayville man was arrested Saturday in the Town of Chautauqua after Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office deputies allegedly found methamphetamines and suboxone in his vehicle.

At about 4 p.m. Saturday, deputies stopped Ronald J. Hall along Morris Road for a lane violation, the Sheriff’s Office reported. Deputies found that his license was suspended in New York and arrested him.

A small quantity of methamphetamines and suboxone was found in Hall’s vehicle.

Hall was arraigned in Chautauqua Town Court, and faces charges of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree unlicensed operation of a vehicle, deputies said.
