Former Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins' trademark dreadlocks were gone when he reported to Kansas City Chiefs training camp.
“Kind of just wanted to be different this season and just be about business,” Watkins told the Kansas City Star. “I’ve had them for 12, 13 years. I’m 25 now. I don’t want to be 40 with dreads. I just decided to cut it.”
Watkins also was the artist behind the new look, telling that Star that he cut the dreads himself in a two-hour process that began at 3 a.m.
