It looks like the Bon-Ton store at Eastern Hills Mall won't sit empty for long.
Raymours Furniture Co., which does business as Raymour and Flanigan, will assume the store's lease, according to papers filed in a Delaware bankruptcy court.
The Bon-Ton store at Eastern Hills Mall encompasses 151,208 square feet. In comparison, the Raymour and Flanigan store at 1459 Niagara Falls Blvd. in Amherst takes up roughly 115,000 square feet.
The furniture and mattress chain also has locations in Orchard Park, Niagara Falls and Cheektowaga.
All Bon-Ton liquidation sales are expected to wrap up by Aug. 31 at the latest. The liquidation began in April.
Eastern Hills Mall has teamed up with Uniland Development to redevelop the mall into a mixed-use town center.
Bon-Ton is listed as paying $1,320 per day in rent in previously filed court documents.
