After allegedly saving a life, Every Time I Die fills slot with Fall Out Boy in Buffalo

What else can Buffalo hardcore band Every Time I Die accomplish this month?

It's almost as if allegedly saving a life in bizarre circumstances and helping close out the final Vans Warped Tour wasn't enough, as ETID has been added to the Fall Out Boy and Machine Gun Kelly show at 7 p.m. Sept. 2 in KeyBank Center.

Tickets for that show range from $30.50 to $70.50 and are already on sale through the KeyBank Center box office, at, or by calling 888-223-6000.

On his personal Twitter account, Every Time I Die guitarist Jordan Buckley relayed a crazy - borderline miraculous - anecdote that stemmed from a show in Flint, Mich., in late March, and then was continued at a July 20 show in Rochester Hills, Mich.

Here's the series of Tweets, focused on Buckley's common on-stage antics, which sparked a viral wave of stories all roughly titled "Attending an Every Time I Die show can save your life."

That was an unexpected turn of events. Buckley, whose brother, Keith, is the band's lead singer, does not recall the fan's name.

To our knowledge, the September booking at KeyBank Center is the first time ETID has played a stadium show in its hometown, as the hardcore band usually stars at Town Ballroom and, more recently, RiverWorks.

Every Time I Die will also play its usual holiday show in Buffalo, slated this year for Dec. 15. The venue is still to be announced.
