July 26 – Erie County Federation of Sportsmen’s Clubs monthly meeting at Niagara River Station, East River Road, Grand Island starting at 7 p.m.

July 26-28 – FLW Costa Series Northern Division Bass Fishing Tournament on Lake Erie out of Safe Harbor Marina, Buffalo. Fishing will be from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with weigh in to follow.

July 27-29 – Youth Archery Camp at West Falls Conservation Society, 55 Bridge Street, West Falls

July 28 – Battle of the Points fishing tournament on Lake Erie. Anyone who camps, docks or fishes out of Pt. Breeze, Sturgeon Point and Fox Point. For Fox Point contact Bob Rustowicz at 830-6394; Pt. Breeze, Rich Stuhr at 553-6491; Sturgeon Point, Stan at 632-3092. Rain date is July 29.

July 28 – Rescheduled from last weekend due to inclement weather: Wilson Bi-Centennial Salmon and Trout Tournament. Big fish and best three fish. Weigh in at Wilson by 3 p.m. Call Mike at 523-1727 for more info. $100 per boat. 100 percent cash payback.

July 28 – NRA Youth Sportfest, limited to first 75 kids at East Aurora Fish and Game Club. Contact Dr. Conrad Boyle at 652-0229 to register.

July 28 – Unified Fishing Derby hosted by the FLW Foundation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Safe Harbor Marina, 1111 Fuhrmann Blvd., Buffalo. Bring a fishing rod if you have one, but loaner rods are available for the first 50 participants. For anyone under age 18 and Special Olympics athletes. Registration at 10 a.m.

July 29 - One Day Trap Shooting Clinic ATA All-American Nora Ross at Allied Sportsmen Club 12846 Clinton St. Alden NY.  New shooters or experienced gunners are both welcome. August 1 - Evans Rod & Gun Club, 864 Cain Road, Angola will be holding 15 Target 3-D archery shoots every Wednesday starting August 1 and running through September 26 from 4 p.m. till dusk.
