The summer signings continue for the Buffalo Beauts as the team announced it has agreed to terms with defenseman Sarah Edney.
Edney made her NWHL debut last season with the Beauts, leading all Buffalo defenders in goals (three) and tied for second in points (six). She scored a goal with an assist in two Isobel Cup playoff games and was part of the 2018 All-Star Weekend.
"Sarah is a smooth skater and adds hockey sense and experience to our lineup," Beauts General Manager Nik Fattey said. "She was an important part of our great team last year, and we are excited to have her back in Buffalo."
Edney, a native of Mississauga, Ontario, played at Harvard University where she recorded 88 points in 127 career games.
