Trevor Book (North Tonawanda), Ryan Bradley (Canisius) and Sam Erickson (Franklinville) make up the 2018 men's basketball recruiting class announced Tuesday by Daemen coach Mike MacDonald.
"We are really excited about this year's recruiting class," said MacDonald, who has directed the Wildcats to an 81-38 record the last four seasons including a 22-8 mark last season.
Book, a 6-4 shooting guard scored over 1,000 points in his career at NT including a season record 536 as a senior.
Bradley, a 6-7 forward was Monsignor Martin Association Player of the Year as a senior when he averaged 12.4 points and 8.0 rebounds for the Crusaders.
Erickson, 6-5, was Player of the Year in the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association for Franklinville. He had 14 double-doubles as a senior when he averaged 21.0 points and 11.2 rebounds.
In addition to the freshman recruits, Daemen expects to be strengthened with the addition of transfer Quinn Lee Yaw, redshirt Ziv Basden and Nick Petrucelli, who sat out last season with an injury.
