Officer Christopher Bridgett, 29, and the second victim, Darnell Davis, 28, were leaving the Groove Lounge, 1210 Broadway at Lathrop Street, shortly before 3:30 a.m. Sunday when two men approached their vehicle and began shooting. Both men were released from Erie County Medical Center on Monday.

Adrian Lias, 41, of Buffalo, and Reginald Hokes, 40, of Charlotte, N.C., were arrested in connection with the shooting after police stopped a vehicle on the 300 block of Jefferson Avenue.
