A Central New York woman was arrested on multiple traffic charges after she was stopped about 11 p.m. Saturday on McGregor Road, not far from Darien Lake, the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Lisa D. Ayers, 52, of Newark, was charged with felony driving while intoxicated after deputies determined she had two prior DWI convictions within 10 years. She also was charged with first-degree unlicensed operation, use of a vehicle without an interlock device, refusal to take a breath test, unsafe passing, turning without signaling and failure to yield right of way on a left turn.
Ayers was arraigned in Town of Darien Court and remanded to Genesee County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail or $10,000 insurance bond. She is scheduled to reappear in town court Tuesday.
