Letter: No one ‘murdered’ bear, as letter writer suggested

This is in response to a writer calling the shooting of a injured bear murder. Really, murder? That’s the best you can come up with? Attaching wildlife to human feelings? How was this bear to be “fixed and relocated” because after all, we moved into his territory? Who pays for this “recovery” and relocation of a wounded wild animal? The taxpayer? Suppose for one second that the writer’s grandchild was attacked by this “poor little bear” – a different perspective may lead to a different decision.
